THE BLESSED MOLESKINE

  1. I bet you would've gotten along with Terrence Mckenna.
    Great stuff.

If it isn't much of intrusion, would you care to show what your studio is like?

I like the cut of your moleskin, Jim.

    You wear it well.

    and monocat concours...

that if the mind is rolling down corridors, it would that suggest its thoughts are limited to a liniar process - a possible weakness...

Very nice. You drop a lot of acid, Jim?

to paraphrase the cowboy in 'The Big Lebowski': "Sometimes you drop acid and sometimes the acid drops you"

With the armless oc I completely agree
    You can't oversimplify this creativity
Could any doper paint a rainbow
    after glancing through a prism?
It's like explaining away El Greco as just a case of astigmatism!

    These brilliant illuminations
Don't come out of a can
They take elbow grease and a lucky tooth
    And a steady mojo hand

    Go! Man! Go!

  9. I agree with the Octopus. Acid is not necessarily the window into artistic inspiration, but it's been a pal and a lil' helper to some in the past. This stuff looks like pure Third Eyeballing.

I really enjoy the sketchbook postings. Actually, I really enjoy the whole blog.

  10. Always a joy to walk in here. Wonderful.

If you do find the time inbetween your prodigous amount of work, do come and inspect my droppings on the cyberspatial carpet.

Be aware that there's free (unimpressive) lodging ready for you here in Oslo if you want to drop by some day.

  11. Really reminds me of the 70's underground comix. Did you get into the works of R. Crumb? My father used to leave his underground comix lying around and so at a tender age I was exposed to them. Must have scarred my sanity--but I wouldn't have it any other way, 'cause I loved 'em!
    Peace,

  12. Longtime fans.

Somewhere we have an issue of Jim from back when you were self-publishing by stapling photocopies together.

We have a cat whom we adopted for his Pupshaw tail.

    That's all. Thanks.
