Sugiura Jim Hinotani

Image hosting by Photobucket
The four-faced glass head is intended to resemble those old-fashioned hand-daubed Christmas ornaments. I've never seen the thing in person so I don't know what it's made of or how big it is.

JW, everything you've posted here is wonderful- an auspicicious start- thanks for sharing all this with us!

Like winters, I would love to know more about this piece- is Sugiura the sculptor's name? Is this a one-off, or a commercially available (or soon-to-be commercially available) piece? Is this the same sculptor who did your newts?

CHEERS, Sire!

Best,
Mike

There's something especially discombobulating about visualizing something really cute that could kill you, while never a moment wavering from that state of cuteness.
