ReplyDeleteFor as much as I "oooh!" and "ahhh!" over your amazing work in black and white, when you hit us with your mastery of colour, I get a little weak in the knees.
ReplyDeleteI love this!
WOW.I am so glad I didnt get the tattoo work done yet. This is very clearly the image I want on my upper arm.Is it a piece of a larger painting? The lighting is very striking, and seems to be a departure from your "usual" work.Is a print available?I will direct the tattoo artist to this at once!
ReplyDeletethe sky blue is messing with my head. I keep wanting to see that as a background space. I don't know if it was intentional but it comes off as an interesting optical illusion.
ReplyDeleteBy far, my favorite piece of your work yet Jim.

Bright, terrible hardcandy dream creature looming in oily black smokeclouds. Look up! Towering over you, an immense gleaming sky toy of god, somehow lit from below, from the fires of your burning tinkertoy town.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful work.
its a head munching sizzler....its a groping little pouch...
ReplyDeleteIt would make a great poster or print methinks. Mantra is like a superhero of Jimworld. Go mantra go!
ReplyDeleteBilious amusements bucket lightly. "Effendi!" I said.
