JUst got Weathercraft last week and after twenty readings I fully understand the story and it's spiritual connotations. I love it and I think it is a beautiful work of art.
Agree with Gabe, Weathercraft has been such a pleasure to read and especially to re-read. Can't believe how lucky the world is that another big Frank story is on its way already! Jim, I humbly ask that you say yes to somebody making another set of capsule toys, this time with Frank, Quacky, Manhog, the two darling demigods, Whim, those 'tell it like it is' chickens...so that we can all lie on our backs, holding them up to the sun and looking at how the light plays off their many angles. I can help. I'll bake cakes.
After stumbling upon the Frank books, and now seeing Weathercraft wafted upon us; I am more than ever convinced that Cartoonistry is the one of the finest of fine arts!! It makes you think, laugh & knit your brows as much as any Van Eyck miracle on canvas (& a little cheaper to get ahold of)! In the post-psychedelic world, it's comforting to know Frank & Co. can transport us to nearby parallel universes, without the need to spend several days recuperating!! Keep em coming Senor Woodring-can't wait for the next thrilling adventure!!!
