This is from a set of four, all 28" x 20", oil on canvas, painted this year.

Yeah, the light's perfect, as if the water is faintly glowing from moonlight. That IS a moon, right?

Ah, yes; "Looney, the Moon", quoth a certain illustrious Kat. I echo the previous comments - this one is just stunning, and the lighting is amazing. It was moonlight reflecting off the monster's teeth that inspired me to post a comment.

Ecstatic-ism run amok! Truly spiritual suspension of ecstasy. By the by, are you familiar with the work of Ron Nagle - I feel a heavy kinship in both your manifestations. He makes ceramic objects of abstraction that easily keep pace with your bestiary. Bravo!
