I was born in the foothills of the San Gabriel Mountains in Southern California and enjoyed an exciting childhood full of poetry and paroniria among the snakes, rats and tarantulas of that enchanted realm. I eventually grew into an inquisitive bearlike man who has had three exciting careers; garbage collector, merry-go-round-operator and cartoonist. Jim, what's the story with the "Hindu Marriage Game"? I keep getting notices on Blogger (the last 9 minutes ago) that you've posted something about it, but it's never here when I click the link.
I did post a little filmstrip-movie of a comic by that name, with Music by Bill Frisell; but after the interminable upload the quality was so poor that I took it down. Also, the soundtrack vanished. I'll try it again.
I think Blogger has that as an inherent problem with video. You may have to post it on YouTube instead, if you want the video looking good. I had the same disappointment with video on my blog.

Nice write up, you mentioned the game played with the guys who did a Napoleonc set of rules. I have those rules and quite like them, could you please give a run down on how this set played.
