Jim, I'm wondering if you've ever seen an old cartoon called Flip the Frog. Some of your drawings remind me of the style in which it was drawn. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Flip_the_Frog
Are you influenced particularly by the styles of any given period or artist?
I really enjoy your work very much!

Reminds me of the "Old Curiosity Shop" in Seattle. Boy, did that place give me nightmares as a kid! Esp. the mummies and shrunken heads.
