And I'll bet he did it w/o words, per Woodring's usual.
Not since Lynn Ward has anyone succeeded so well in telling such gripping stories w/o the use of language. Even Sergio Aragonés 'Louder than words' is not nearly as compelling or as accomplished as Woodring.
